Holidays at the Wizarding World

Its almost time for the most magical season of the year! Christmas at the Wizarding World is filled with lights and festive decor. The Butterbeer is hot and the crewneck sweatshirts are feeling cozier than ever. Shoot, I might even throw on a matching house scarf.

At Islands of Adventure you can hear the seasonal melodies of the Frog Choir or jam out to the smooth voice of Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees. Most exciting of all is the Magic at Hogwarts Light show, which appears on the Castle every evening at nightfall in Universal's Islands of Adventure.

Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade Village are both full of Christmas Lights, garland and ornaments. The shops in both parks have sweatshirts, hats, gloves, house robes, and scarves to help you stay warm and represent your house while traveling through the parks.

If you get a chance be sure to take a photo in front of Gringott's Bank or one of the many store fronts covered in lights and decor. The photos will make great holiday memories with friends or family.

Some of my fondest holiday memories are at Universal Orlando during the Christmas season. The feeling of the cooler weather and the magic of the Christmas decor makes Universal a great place to spend the holidays with your loved ones.

Lastly, be sure to catch the large balloons of Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s. The parade will feature all different characters from the Universal Studios brand, including the most adorable banana loving minions. To make sure you can experience both parks and ride the Hogwarts Express, you will need the park to park pass or an annual 2-park pass that includes Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

Admission is included with Your Theme Park Ticket or Annual Pass. This year the holiday park dates will be November 13th through January 2nd. Blackout dates may apply so be sure to check your pass/ticket calendar. I will link the park calendar below, typically you can see park hours one month in advance.
